This is a small bird commonly found in Asian countires. This is similar to a sparrow in size. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical hill forests. It is olive yellow in colour, with multiple darker streaks. Its beak is long and curved which is specially adapted for sucking nectar. It has yellow legs. This bird’s call is frequent and loud with a ‘chitick, chitick’ sound.
This bird nests on trees and the nest is usually made of leaves that are tied together with cobwebs.
